Dog & Cat Health Requirement Information for Guests of Pittsburgh Pet Concierge

For Cats:   
We require two vaccines: FVRCP Vaccine & Rabies Vaccine (fecal test not required)
 

For Dogs: 
We require three vaccines (and a fecal test from with in the last 6 months)
Required Dog Vaccines:
1. Rabies Vaccine MUST BE CURRENT
2. Distemper Combo Vaccine MUST BE CURRENT
3. Bordetella Vaccine MUST BE CURRENT
4. Fecal Antigen testing results (every 6 months)

FAQ:
If you discover an expired vaccine that we require AND you are not able to get an appointment with your Vet quickly enough...please visit VIPpetcare.com for the location of your closest walk-in vaccine clinic (same day openings)

If you can't find your pet's vaccine record document just ask your Vet to fax them to fax the docs to us at: 412.856.8505 or  they may be emailed to: Pittpetconcierge1@gmail.com

Dogs: If it has been more than 12 months since your last fecal test --
You will need to redo the test
You can always drop off a fecal sample at your Veterinarian office during normal business hours - no appointment needed.

Dogs & Cats: Vaccine waivers are accepted in certain circumstances such as immune system conditions & allergies. We require a letter of explanation from your Veterinarian in such cases.

Dogs: We do not require the canine influenza vaccine but it is recommended.

Dogs & Cat parents:  If you're looking at your documents and are unsure: Please text us a photo of the document to 412.856.8505--  we will reply to let you know if you have everything that is needed or if something is missing. Alternatively, you can always call your Vet practice and go over our requirements with them and they can tell you if you are good to go.
